Environmental Inspection

After the Storm: Why Get an Environmental Assessment?

Everyone in and around the Houston, TX, area was affected by Hurricane Harvey when it hit our city just weeks ago. While the waters have receded and we’ve begun cleaning up the damage, we know there’s still much to do to recover from the storm. Here at Titans Commercial, we want to help local businesses get back on their feet. An important part of doing that is carefully assessing and getting documentation on the damages—and we can help you do just that with an environmental assessment.

What is an environmental assessment?

At Titans Commercial, our environmental assessments are customized to your business, your property, and your needs. But in general, an environmental assessment is a thorough property inspection that looks for safety or health concerns. If your business was affected by flooding or winds, we’ll look for molds, chemical contaminants, and more. If the first phase of the assessment reveals concerning results, then we can continue to phase two, where we will do more in-depth testing and begin remediation efforts.

Do you recommend any other inspections?

The answer to this question depends on you and how your commercial property was affected by Hurricane Harvey. However, if you’re at all concerned about your building’s structure, foundation, roof, windows, or HVAC systems, then you may want to get a standard property inspection as well.

Will you create a report for our insurance company?

With every inspection we do, our clients get a customized report. We’re glad to work with you and your insurance agency, but be sure to check with your insurance prior to scheduling the inspection to make sure they don’t want to send their own company. If so, you may decide to go with the insurance agency’s inspector alone, or schedule one with us as well, just to get a second opinion. That choice is yours.

Which areas do you serve?

Titans Commercial is based in Pearland, TX, and our inspection services extend to the businesses in and around Houston, Sugar Land, Katy, and The Woodlands.

How do I schedule an inspection?
